The Western Canada High School Debate Club kicked off the new school year with a training tournament on August 31st and September 1st. We welcomed participants from Strathcona Tweedsmuir School in Okotoks and Sage Hill School in Newport Beach, California. In the end, Sage Hill School's top team beat out Western Canada's best by a single point, 1203 to 1202, to claim victory. All participants look forward to the official rematch in Newport Beach in late October. California, here we come!
